Born and raised in the East Bay Area, Matthew knew he wanted to be an attorney from an early age. Through his experiences as longstanding family law attorney, a partner and a father himself, he is passionate about the benefits of using mediation as a way of creating collaborative, fair and sustainable agreements that maintain good relationships and provide the best outcomes for his clients and their families.

He feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to do what he loves daily for a profession, earning his client’s trust and building strong relationships with them. Being a father of three boys himself, Matthew understands firsthand the sensitive and complicated nature of raising children with another parent. In pursuing mediation, Matthew made the conscious decision to offer professional, skilled and compassionate mediation services as a way of bringing peace to litigant’s lives by guiding them through what may be the most difficult periods of their lives.
